Ingredients
- 12 qty Medjool dates
- 1 cup Rolled Oats
- 1/2 cup Almonds
- 1 tbsp Chia Seeds
- 4 tbsp Lemon juice
- 1 tsp Lemon Zest
- 1 tsp Vanilla Extract
- 1 tsp Ground turmeric
- 1/2 cup Shredded coconut for dusting Look for one with no added sugar

- 1 scoop Juice Plus+ Complete Vanilla Shake

Instructions
- Remove the pits from dates and soak in hot water for 3 minutes.
- Place almonds in food processor and pulse until roughly chopped.
- Drain dates and add to food processor, saving the water.
- Add all the other ingredients (excluding shredded coconut) to a food processor and blend until mixture turns into a dough-like consistency.
- Add 1 tbsp or more of date water only if the mixture is too dry.
- With the small cookie dough scoop, scoop the mixture and roll into balls.
- Roll the balls in shredded coconut and place on plate, tray, or container. (If you prefer the coconut to be more fine like a dusting, grind in a coffee grinder first.)
- Store balls in an airtight container in the refrigerator. Keep up to 1 week.
