Health & Wellness Workshops for Parents and Caregivers of Young Children (ages 1-12)

Parents (and caregivers) want the best for their children, especially when it comes to their health, well-being, learning, behavior, performance, and happiness.  We want to see our kids succeed!  L.E.A.N. Start is the simple solution your family needs to help you make positive and lasting Lifestyle, Exercise, Attitude, and Nutrition (L.E.A.N.) changes.

Scientifically based.  Doctor developed.  Family approved.

Dr. William Sears and Dr. Jim Sears developed L.E.A.N. to educate and empower parents and caregivers to provide simple, effective, and fun changes which can have a positive impact on the health of the entire family.

A Complete Approach

Lifestyle – How we live

Exercise – How we move

Attitude – How we think

Nutrition – How we eat

What L.E.A.N. is Not

  • Boring informational classes
  • An exercise regimen
  • Recipes with seaweed and tofu
  • A calorie or point counting program

Qualified Instruction

L.E.A.N. Start is offered exclusively by a Health Coach certified through the Dr. Sears Wellness Institute.  Participants will receive a comprehensive workbook and learn new ideas through hands-on activities and practical interaction.

“When children eat the right foods, their parents and teachers notice an improvement in their school performance.  These children are able to focus better, and they have fewer behavioral and attention problems at school and at home.”

~ Dr. William Sears

Did you know that a child’s brain reaches 90% of its adult size by age 5? The rapidly growing brains of children may be impacted for better or worse by the quality of food in the child’s diet.
